Myriad™ groups under a single convenient interface a set of essential performance models, and is an excellent tool for anyone involved in Performance Analysis and Capacity Planning. Myriad includes many classical queueing models such as simple and not so simple finite and infinite queues, central server model of multiprogramming, a model of a multiprogrammed interactive system, as well as a number of important special models such as multi-class loss model, an original model of bandwidth sharing, a model of a tandem system with blocking, a model of a Token Ring LAN, or Internet specific client-server models, in particular, related to World Wide Web performance viewed both from the client side and the server side.

Latest additions include the Sangoma tool to automatically discover the underlying queueing model based on observed response times and throughput (or number of users) levels. Sangoma now features the goal mode which allows you to determine the maximum throughput (or number of users) that can be sustained for a given average response time. Another recent addition is an original solution of G/G/c-like queues. Also included is a model of FICON channel performance taking into account the effects of disconnect delays on frame interference delays, expected number of open exchanges on the channel, and the maximum attainable channel throughput.
